Santos Rene Irizarry

This mid 20th century ink drawing is by Puerto Rican Modernist artist Santos Rene Irizarry (1934-1997). He studied art at the University of Puerto Rico with Carlos Marichal, the Galeria Campeche with Domingo Garcia in San Juan and the National School of Plastic Arts Academy of San Carlos in Mexico with Diego Rivera, Rufino Tamayo and Jose Clemente Orozco.

Estate stamped lower right. Framed in a vintage dark walnut frame floating on white matting under conservation clear glass. Fair vintage condition.
