Entitled Water Ripples - au soleil, this Summer 2018 watercolor and ink on paper abstract is by contemporary Mendocino/Bay Area artist, Gaétan Caron (b. 1964), co-founder of Lost Art Salon in San Francisco. Caron's work is inspired by his surroundings and life in the mountains of inland Mendocino County, Northern California. Mendocino, California. The piece is a homage to Wachi, Chinese American French Abstract Expressionist artist and was painted plein air at Lake Mendocino, CA.
