Gerald Wasserman
This late 20th century oil on board self portrait is by Monterey/Carmel artist of Russian descent, Gerald Wasserman (1920-2011). Wasserman studied at the Chicago Art Institute and was a long time member and exhibitor at the Carmel Art Association. He exhibited, lived, and traveled extensively throughout Europe. This piece was painted while on an artist trip to Mexico.

Signed lower right. Excellent vintage condition. Framed in restored vintage wood frame with ornate leaf carvings and crossed edged with a gold inner lip.
