Clyde I. Seavey

Entitled Figures in the Flood this 1960s charcoal on paper figurative abstract is by San Francisco artist Clyde I. Seavey Jr. (1942-1969). Son of noted illustrator and fine artist, Clyde F. Seavey. This piece is part of a series of Expressionist figurative pieces done in the later half of the 1960s while attending art school in Berkeley.

Signed and dated lower left. Framed in a restored Mid Century frame using archival matting and etched non-glare glass. Excellent vintage condition.
