Clyde F. Seavey Sr.

This early 20th century ink on paper portrait drawing of a Clyde's wife Adele, is by San Francisco artist Clyde Follett Seavey (1904-1991). Seavey studied at UC Berkeley and California College of Arts & Crafts. He was a commercial artist for magazines such as The American Weekly. He was also a member of the Artists Club, Artists & Art Directors Club, and Advertising Club all in San Francisco and had many shows in San Francisco during the 1960s.

Framed in a wide faced vintage frame with a silver leaf finish using archival matting and a linen insert behind conservation clear glass.
