This ink and on paper vintage German architectural illustration is by the artist Leo Erb (b. 1923). Born n the town of St. Ingbert near the German-French border Erb began studying art in 1940 in Kaiserslautern under the direction of Prof. Joseph Wack. From 1846-47 he was a student at the School of Arts & Crafts in Saabrücken, Germany studying under Prof. Dr. Boris Kleint. He established his own personal artist studio in Paris, France in 1961, where is lived for many years. Over his multi-decade career his works have been exhibited in many national and international museums and galleries.

Signed and dated at the bottom, titled in German at the top. Good vintage condition, some age toning and foxing on edges. Framed in a contemporary solid-maple wood frame using archival matting behind conservation clear glass.
