This 1920-30s graphite on paper study of a female nude from behind is by San Francisco artist Clyde Follett Seavey (1904-1991). Seavey studied at UC Berkeley and California College of Arts & Crafts. He was a commercial artist for magazines such as The American Weekly. He was also a member of the Artists Club, Artists & Art Directors Club, and Advertising Club all in San Francisco and had many shows in San Francisco during the 1960s.

Signed lower right. Good vintage condition, some creasing and wear. Framed in a restored vintage wood frame with a cool-silver face and warm bevel using conservation clear glass.
