This 1920-40s ink on paper study of a female nude from behind is by San Francisco artist Clyde Follett Seavey (1904-1991). Seavey studied at UC Berkeley and California College of Arts & Crafts. He was a commercial artist for magazines such as The American Weekly. He was also a member of the Artists Club, Artists & Art Directors Club, and Advertising Club all in San Francisco and had many shows in San Francisco during the 1960s.

Signed in the image area on the right. Good vintage condition. Framed in a contemporary wood frame with a soft metallic gray finish using 8-ply archival matting behind conservation clear glass.
