Entitled Fields of Andalusia, this 2019 gouache on paper deconstructed landscape is by San Francisco artist and Lost Art Salon co-owner Rob Delamater (b.1966). Delamater creates abstract compositions that evoke organic shapes and motifs from the natural world. His works are created using various forms of printmaking, painting, and collage. Painted during an artist residency in Mojácar, Spain.
Artist Note: This was the view from my room at Fundación Valparaíso in Southern Spain during my 2019 artist residency. Just beyond those hills is the Mediterranean Sea and beyond that is Morocco.

Initialed and dated lower left. Excellent condition. Framed in a contemporary wood frame with a sanded walnut finish using white archival linen matting and spacers behind conservation clear glass.
