Entitled Andalusian Fields V, this 2019 gouache on paper deconstructed landscape is by San Francisco artist and Lost Art Salon co-owner Rob Delamater (b.1966). Delamater creates abstract compositions that evoke organic shapes and motifs from the natural world. His works are created using various forms of printmaking, painting, and collage. Painted during an artist residency in Mojácar, Spain.
Artist Note: Painted plein air during the cool of the morning in the orchard of Fundación Valparaíso in Southern Spain during my 2019 artist residency.
