Roger Gerster
Entitled Arbres (Trees), this 1960-70s intricate colored etching on paper abstract is by Swiss artist Roger Gerster (born 1939). Gerster was mentored by artist Rodolphe-Theophile Bosshard. He studied at the Beaux-Arts Lausanne and the Grand Chaumiere, Paris and began showing in Swiss galleries in 1957.

Titled under the mat in the lower left. Excellent vintage condition. Framed in a restored vintage walnut wood frame with a warm wood finish using archival double matting behind conservation clear glass.
