This vibrant 2004 pastel and graphite figurative abstract on paper is by Monterey/Carmel artist of Russian descent, Gerald Wasserman (1920-2011). Wasserman studied at the Chicago Art Institute and was a long time member and exhibitor at the Carmel Art Association. He exhibited, lived, and traveled extensively throughout Europe.

Signed and dated lower right. Fair vintage condition. Pin holes in corners, minor tears lower left, creasing in the upper left. Framed in a contemporary wood frame with a gray maple finish using archival matting and spacers being conservation clear glass.
