This 1973 graphite on paper nude drawing is by Los Angeles artist, violin prodigy, and actor Schuyler Standish (1927-2010). As a child actor, Standish had roles in several Hollywood films during the early 1940s. During WWII, Standish entertained troops during WWII in Bobby Byrne's band. He was an art teacher in Los Angeles for thirty years and exhibited at the Falk-Raboff Gallery in L.A (1954), LACMA (1959), and the Riverside Art Museum (2010).

Signed, dated and titled at the bottom. Excellent vintage condition. Framed in a contemporary wood frame with an antique silver finish using archival double matting with white on top of an emerald suede mat behind conservation clear glass.
