Jane Rades

This C. 1980's oil on paper scene of figures in a storm is by California artist and poet Jane Rades (b. 1942). Rades attended the University of Wisconson- Milwaukee and studied painting at the San Francisco Art Institute from 1963-1965. She was influenced by the Bay Area Figurative Movement and Post-Impressionists, and has exhibited in San Francisco widely. Rades is a published poet and lives in San Francisco.

25"x15" framed, 28"x18" unframed 

Excellent vintage condition. Estate stamped on the back. Framed in a restore vintage wood frame painted a deep, warm brown using archival matting behind conservation clear glass.
