Wiveca Rubinow
Entitled Grape Leaves this Mid Century abstract oil on canvas is by Swedish-California artist Wiveca Rubinow (1920-1994). Rubinow was born in Stockholm, Sweden and studied art in Paris under Henri Matisse as a young adult prior to immigrating to Northern California where she showed her works at galleries in Calistoga and Mendocino.
