Jane Rades

This mid-late 20th century acrylic on paper mounted to paper board figure is by California artist and poet Jane Rades (b. 1942). Rades attended the University of Wisconson- Milwaukee and studied painting at the San Francisco Art Institute from 1963-1965. She was influenced by the Bay Area Figurative Movement and Post-Impressionists, and has exhibited in San Francisco widely. Rades is a published poet and lives in San Francisco.
