This 1967 ink drawing, entitled, Saint Valentine's Day is by Puerto Rican Modernist artist Santos Rene Irizarry (1934-1997). He studied art at the University of Puerto Rico with Carlos Marichal, the Galeria Campeche with Domingo Garcia in San Juan and the National School of Plastic Arts Academy of San Carlos in Mexico with Diego Rivera, Rufino Tamayo and Jose Clemente Orozco.

Signed, dated, titled on bottom. Excellent vintage condition. Framed in a restored vintage wide-faced wood frame with a hand painted warm white finish using archival matting behind conservation clear glass.
