This 1953 surreal acrylic and graphite work is by Bay Area artist John Nicolini (1923-2014). He studied at CCAC, earning a BA in Fine Art in the late 1950s. He worked as a commercial and graphic designer, owning a graphic arts firm for 40 years. He exhibited widely throughout Northern California, including at the de Young Museum in SF.
