Helen Sewell Rennie
This 1930-50s ink wash abstracted figure on flesh-colored paper is by Washington D.C. artist Helen Rennie (1906-1989). Rennie was a WPA artist. She exhibited at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Pennsylvania Academy of the Arts, the Corcoran Gallery Biennials, the Baltimore Museum, Phillips Memorial Gallery and at MoMA.
