This 1952 ink on paper monochromatic deconstructed figurative drawing is by San Francisco artist Clyde Follett Seavey (1904-1991). Seavey studied at UC Berkeley and California College of Arts & Crafts. He was a commercial artist for magazines such as The American Weekly. He was also a member of the Artists Club, Artists & Art Directors Club, and Advertising Club all in San Francisco and had many shows in San Francisco during the 1960s.

Signed in the lower right. Good vintage condition. Framed in a contemporary wood frame with a rainbow inlaid veneer and black sides with a clear lacquer finish using archival matting behind conservation clear glass.
