Gerald Wasserman

This circa 1947 graphite on paper male portrait drawing is by Monterey/Carmel artist of Russian descent, Gerald Wasserman (1920-2011).  Wasserman studied at the Chicago Art Institute and was a long time member and exhibitor at the Carmel Art Association.  He exhibited, lived, and traveled extensively throughout Europe. This piece was produced on an artist trip to Mexico.

Excellent condition. Signed lower left. Framed in a restored vintage wood frame using archival spacers behind conservation clear glass.
