Entitled Personal History, this 2019 monotype and gouache deconstructed figurative abstract is by San Francisco artist and Lost Art Salon co-owner Rob Delamater (b.1966). Delamater creates abstract compositions that evoke organic shapes and motifs from the natural world. His works are created using various forms of printmaking, painting, and collage.
Artist Note: Inspired by my study of Etruscan art and its connection to Modernism during a 2018 artist residency outside of Florence, Italy.
*Part of the upcoming show Travelogue opening Thursday February 27th at Lost Art Salon, this piece will ship after March 12th.

Signed, dated and titled at the bottom. Excellent condition. Framed in a contemporary wood frame with a sanded walnut finish using museum-style archival matting behind conservation clear glass. Excellent condition.
