Rob Delamater
Entitled David Hockney, this 2025 gouache and graphite on 19th century canvas paper is by San Francisco artist and Lost Art Salon co-owner Rob Delamater (b.1966). Rob's Queer Modernists series is a tribute to influential LGBTQ artists of the 20th century, rendered on rare two-hundred-year-old French paper canvas. Delamater creates abstract compositions that evoke organic shapes and motifs from the natural world. His works are created using various forms of printmaking, painting, and collage.
