Entitled Cloudy Day on the Pearl River, this 1933 oil on board abstracted riverside landscape is by New York and New Orleans artist Charles Hutson (1840-1936). Hutson showed at the Society of Independent Artists in New York, and at the Isaac Delgado Museum of Art in New Orleans. He is represented in the New Orleans Museum of Art collection and was reviewed in 2010 by the New York Times.
