Howard Albert
This 1960-70s abstracted woodcut on paper still life is by Chicago artist, musician and composer Howard Albert (1911-2004). Albert studied at the Chicago Art Institute and with Stanley William Hayter at Atelier 17 in New York. He was a master printmaker and the founder of the Pauper's Press.

Estate stamped lower right. Framed in a contemporary wood frame in a grey finish on maple using warm white archival matting behind conservation clear glass. Good vintage condition.
