Jane Rades
This early 1960s oil on paper figurative abstract painting is by California artist and poet Jane Rades (b. 1942). Rades attended the University of Wisconson- Milwaukee and studied painting at the San Francisco Art Institute from 1963-1965. She was influenced by the Bay Area Figurative Movement and Post-Impressionists, and has exhibited in San Francisco widely. Rades is a published poet and lives in San Francisco.

Estate stamped lower left.. Framed in a contemporary wood frame with a silver leaf face and grey sides using archival white matting behind conservation clear glass. Good vintage condition.
