Schuyler Standish
This 2007 oil on paper abstract entitled The Garden is by Los Angeles artist, violin prodigy, and actor Schuyler Standish (1927-2010). As a child actor, Standish had roles in several Hollywood films during the early 1940s. During WWII, Standish entertained troops during WWII in Bobby Byrne's band. He was an art teacher in Los Angeles for thirty years and exhibited at the Falk-Raboff Gallery in L.A (1954), LACMA (1959), and the Riverside Art Museum (2010).

Signed lower right, titled on the back. Excellent vintage condition. Framed in a contemporary wood frame with a hammered gold face and black sides using 8-ply archival matting in an oyster shade behind conservation clear glass.
